Quantum Physics And Positive Thinking
How are quantum physics and positive thinking related?
Quantum physics is a branch of science that studies the physics (properties, behaviour) of small particles.
Quantum physics come to say that everything is made up of atoms, which are made of particles called quanta.
Those quanta are described as energy vibrating at a certain frequency, which tend to "come together" or "gather" with other quanta vibrating at the same frequency.
The fact that, at a subatomic level, the particles that form anything are not standing still but they are vibrating, translates as "everything is energy in motion".
Quantum physics and positive thinking
Our thoughts are also energy vibrating.
Whatever thoughts we choose, they vibrate at a certain frequency that is drawn to and attracts elements (including other thoughts) that vibrate at the same frequency.
That is why the saying "like attracts like". This phenomenon is also known as the Law of Attraction.
The best tools I've found to help me understand and use the Law of Attraction effectively are the Abraham-Hicks Law of Attraction books.
How do quantum physics and positive thinking work together?
You can use this little knowledge about quantum physics and positive thinking for your benefit.
You can choose to direct your thoughts in a certain direction - for instance, what would I feel like if I earned money doing what I like?
The energy of thoughts gather momentum, and more thoughts alike come to your mind. You can do this to brainstorm, to put yourself in a positive frame of mind, or even to gain calm and optimism before an interview.
So... is it true?
- Scientifically, it is. Everything is energy moving at a certain frequency that attracts other energy moving at the same frequency - very, very simply put.
- Many people don't believe in the Law of Attraction because we cannot prove or measure the connection between our thoughts and our reality.
There's no scientific way to check that a certain type of thoughts directly create a certain reality, perhaps because the results of our thoughts don't manifest immediately.
We can also believe that a certain action happened because of many other factors involved and not only our thoughts (though some people talk about these factors being "coincidences", "good luck", or "bad luck", which is not scientific either).
- I choose to believe that the universe does work according to the law of attraction (and many other laws).
In my experience, like attracts like and my positive thoughts have attracted positive events and experiences in my life. For instance, check the story of how my bean bag came into my life.
I find that, at first, it does take some self-training to be mindful of where one's thoughts are. Focus does pay off however, and so in little time you will find yourself naturally focusing more and more in that which makes you feel good.
And guess what, a happy life is not a life that you create when you have this or you achieve that. You have an opportunity to create a happy life at every moment, simply by choosing the focus of your thoughts.
"You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you."
