Thanks

I am grateful for this beautiful Sunday morning, with the sunlight shining in my windows, helping my tomato plants, parsley and basil to take on the growth they need, so that I can use them for cooking and providing me with the nutrition I need to keep my body healthy.

I am grateful for the trees and flowers that surround my home, they brighten every day and make me feel at peace in my surroundings - Thank you!

I am grateful for the greenfingered people in my community who help keep this lovely city clean and beautiful, they establish plants and hanging baskets all over the area, plant up half barrels of flowers which line the streets, they maintain all of the riverside walkways and border shrubs, and just bring a lot of joy to me when I see their good work in the colour and textures of the planting they have carried out - they are wonderful people and may they continue to carry on with this great work - Thank you!
I am grateful that I have learned many life skills, and can look after myself, being practical and knowing what to do to goes a long way to keeping me alive - Thank you!

I am grateful to my mother for teaching me to cook at a very young age, I am grateful to my father for teaching me about nature and all living things and appreciating them, I am grateful for their love and support in my childhood and all that they taught us as children, and how to be a decent human being. I am grateful to all of my family, although we are all adults and live apart, we are still able to come together and enjoy each others company, and have fun.

I am grateful to our creator for keeping my mother alive now in her 86th year, and although not as physically able to get around, she is still well in herself and here with us - thank you a million times !
