Why an Empowered Experience FAQ?
Through the years that I have been running this web site I have received many emails from readers, asking for help with their specific problems.
At first I could give very extended help in my email replies, with sometimes each email taking up to an hour of my time. I very gladly invested that time on helping people that needed it, as I also liked being of help and, apart from my day job, I didn't have any other pressing commitments.
However, as I got more busy with the web site and also expanded in other creative areas of my life (such as music or painting) while still keeping my day job, I realized that I was having less and less time to help readers via email if I was to help them "properly", rather than replying with just a two-line email.
So later on, when the idea of creating some sort of life coaching came along, I found it to be the perfect solution to actually help people while earning some money for the time and energy invested.
This, besides, would be more useful to the person than email communication. I then created Empowered Experience coaching.
I thought as well that, since the content on my web site is already free and gives suggestions and help in many ways, only those readers who really needed further help would make use of my personalized coaching.
As soon as I launched Empowered Experience I had many people contacting me through the form and showing interest in having coaching. That was wonderful to see, and I loved thinking that I might be able to make a living by helping people.
The large amount of queries I received made me think that it would be really useful to have an Empowered Experience FAQ page, so that most questions were answered upfront.
That's why I created this Empowered Experience FAQ. I feel that it provides clear guidelines about Empowered Experience, which help to protect your and my time and energy.

Why do you do this Empowered Experience coaching?
I enjoy it, and it helps me help you in a personalized way while making a living with it.
If I didn't have to think about earning money ever again, I would spend time every day helping people with their problems by talking with them. I would perhaps sit on a bench and put up a placard, "I help you for free".
Since I do have to earn money so that I can live, I'd rather earn money through coaching and helping others, which I really like, than through doing any office job that I don't like.
What are your credentials?
As you probably read in the Empowered Experience page, I have had to deal with my own problems and find a solution to them for myself (from overcoming negative patterns of thought to dealing with people with clinical depression). My experience comes from having to deal with life itself and successfully overcoming large challenges.
My work experience has also given me the tools to help effectively those who find themselves in wells of despair. I have dealt with a large number of people over the years, including people who have suffered at the hands of doctors.
Will you be able to help me with my problem?
I believe so. The whole range of human experiences can be brought down to a few basic emotions and complexes, and at the bottom of any problem there is a lack of self-love.
The variety of problems that I have dealt with in my life cover most if not all of the basic emotions, and thus I can relate to your problem and understand where you are and what you need to move forward.
What kind of problems can you help me with?
I can help you with a large variety of problems: dealing with jealousy, overcoming low self-esteem, handling anxiety, handling fear, overcoming wanting approval...

Why is your advice different from the advice my friends give me?
With all due respect, your friends are biased - because they are involved with your problems and your life, and their opinion is bound to be clouded by the image they have of you and what they want for you.
I offer you the sacred space of friendship and understanding, while at the same time I advise you from a place of neutrality. I will not push you towards moving in this or that direction, but rather I will give you the most appropriate tools for you to deal with your problem successfully.
How can I be on your waiting list?
I give priority to the more difficult problems - i.e. someone who is feeling that their life is just such a misery that they're even thinking of suicide would have more priority than someone who wants to learn to think more positively in general.
However, in my reply to you I'll let you know whether we can agree on a date for our session straight away or otherwise what is the waiting list at that moment.
When will we have our session?
In my reply email to you I will let you know what is the time difference between us, and I will either propose a certain date, or I will ask you to let me know when would it be more convenient for you to have our session.
Depending on the time difference and the dates available for both you and I, we will then agree on a particular date. I will then let you have my Skype ID, so that you can add me to Skype and we can have our session when scheduled.
How much is one session?

I offer 30-minute and 1-hour sessions. I also offer you a first free 15-minute chat if you wish, so that you can get a taste of what you can expect from our work together.
How many sessions do I need?
Typically my clients find help with their specific problem in just two to three sessions. I also have long-term clients who prefer that we work through their issues over a period of weeks, which comprises 4 to 8 sessions.
Does my contacting you mean that I'm already booking a session?
No. You may just have a question that you have not seen answered in this page, or you may want to know when I'm available, or whatever else. You will only have booked your session once we have agreed on the date for it to take place.
How do I pay?
You pay through PayPal. A PayPal account is free to open, and it's a secure way of making payments over the internet. You can always open one if you don't have one already - it's free.
Do you offer any other type of payment - i.e. cheque or card?
No, currently I only accept payments through PayPal.
When do I pay?
Payment is to be made after we have agreed on the date for our session.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes. You can choose to pay the full fee upfront, or you can pay half the fee upfront and the other half after our session.
Do you offer free sessions?
No. However, I do offer a free 15-minute chat so that you can have a taste of what you can expect in a session.
What if I cannot afford your coaching?
If you cannot afford a coaching session, you can still take advantage of all the free information on the web site, the material in the free newsletters, and the free ebooks.
Can I cancel a session that I have already booked?
Yes, but you need to let me know 48 hours or more before the session.
Can I reschedule a session that I have already booked?
Yes. I would appreciate however that you let me know with at least 48 hours of notice.
Can you recommend specific material to deal with my problem over the session?
Yes. I know resources to deal with many different problems (programs, books, web sites, ebooks), and having tried them personally I can recommend the most appropriate one for you.
How about if we have problems with the internet or Skype during our session?
If we have technical problems during our session (i.e. connection to the internet, sound problems) we will try to resolve them. If we cannot resolve them, we'll reschedule the session for a later date.
The time spent in solving technical problems won't count towards the actual session - this is, we will make up the time spent in solving any technical issue, whether in that same session or at a later date.
How about if we cannot work together?
If we realize that we cannot work together (it hasn't happened to me yet, but hey, we may just not "click") then I will refund you your money in full. There is no need for us to work together if it doesn't feel good.
What if I'm not satisfied with the coaching?
I believe that you will be satisfied and you will see how our session has helped you, but if this is not the case then I will refund you your money in full.
What if I'm underage?
If you are underage, I need the permission from your parents or guardians for you to have your session. I will also need their guarantee of payment. This is because of legal reasons.
Do I get a reply from you solving my problems if I just email you?
I don't tend to give advice over email because of the volume of emails that I receive asking for help, and replying to them all effectively is not possible. Instead I offer my services through the Empowered Experience coaching.
However, we can discuss the possibility of coaching you over email - contact me if you're interested.
Sometimes I do have the time to reply to some emails I receive asking for help, but I cannot guarantee I will.
