Thanking God for never forsaking us

I Thank God our Father for everything he has done for all of us. I thank him for guiding us when we're scared or hurt. He is always there to comfort us at bad times but all you have to do is call on his name and he'll talk to you at anytime of day. He brought me through these heart problems and never left my side. I thank God for ALL good things. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understandings. Keep faith he'll never leave you. No matter what. I'm serious I've witnessed these things. You think he is not here but he has always been here and always will be. Like seriously.

Many years ago, I was asked to teach a children’s Sunday School Class. My Pastor saw what I didn’t see....how God uses the least of us to do His work. One of my lessons was Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; lean not to your own understanding but allow Him to direct your path. Needless to say, my students gleamed a lot from this lesson; but, what I didn’t know at the time Jesus was preparing me, also, for what I would be facing later in life.
I’ve learned EVERYTHING that happens in our lives, there is a lesson to be learned. For you see, we will have storms (the trials and tribulations the Bible speaks about). It is through these storms, it’s significant that we trust not our family, our friends or ourselves; but, the Lord. It has helped me in relationships, financial difficulties, health issues with my husband and me; most recently in dealing with the loss of my spouse of 48 years. This is why Proverbs 3:5-6 is so critical in our walk with Jesus! I thank God for my Pastor who saw what I didn’t see. Be blessed! Be safe!
