I live in a surburb, with high walls sorrounding most people's houses. However, right next to my house are squatters. I bet their family has owned the land from way back and have refused to sell to the emerging rich. They do not have the basics that all the other neighbors have.
I am thankful that I can hire one of the girls to do my laundry and pay her many times more, so that she can care for her siblings. I am thankful that the kids smile at me whenever I pass by... and I am thankful that they are happy as well. I am thankful for life.
