'Round The Clock Time Affirmations

Slow down with these time affirmations

Modern life brings a lot of comfort (there are machines that will help you to do almost anything), but it also brings in more and more information to deal with, mainly due to the internet and the level of connection with other people through electronic devices.

And so while it may be true that we may have less time available than our grandparents' generation, also our perception of time is relative.

However, at the same time whatever we perceive is 'real' for us, so you can easily get stressed when you start thinking of all the things that you have to do and the little time available that you have every day.

I used to get very stressed very easily thinking about all the things I wanted to do and how little time I had after working a day job and taking care of the house, cooking, cleaning, and other bits and pieces.

Over the years I have experimented with different ways of dealing with my perception of time and the actual getting things done so that I wouldn't get stressed.

The trick for me lies in letting go at once of my perception of having little time and focus only on the present moment and the task at hand.

This sounds easy to do, and it actually is, once you take the decision of focusing only on the present moment - however you may also find that you have a lot of resistance to letting go of control and trusting that you will get things done anyway.

I created a few time affirmations to help me let go of believing that I didn't have enough time, and to focus on the present. I'm now sharing these time affirmations with you so that you too can change your perspective and let go of stress.

Time affirmations

I have all the time of the world

I always get to do all I want to do

I can relax into the task at hand

Focusing on the present moment is all I need to do

Time enlarges to allow me to do all I want to do

Time is always available to me

My life happens in the now

The more I focus on the present, the more time I have at my disposal

Time gaps open up for me every day

I always have all the time I need

The present moment is all that exists

The more I focus on my breathing, the more time available I have

Time always adjusts to be whatever I believe it to be

This moment is perfect

I love focusing on the present moment

"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."
